Client: BAE Systems
Duration: 12 months
Location: Scotsotun
Hourly Pay: £35.02 PAYE or £47.14 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: 1 day per month in the office
About the Role
You\’ll play a vital role in supporting major naval programmes, ensuring configuration management and product lifecycle processes are effectively delivered across the design and build phases.
What You\’ll Do
- Support configuration and change management activities across complex warship programmes.
- Help maintain product baselines and ensure robust change control.
- Work with industry-leading PLM tools (e.g. Windchill, FORAN, AVEVA).
- Provide guidance to engineering teams and contribute to solving design and product change issues.
What We\’re Looking For
- Degree or equivalent in engineering, technology, or science.
- Experience in configuration or product lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of PLM systems and change processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional registration (IEng/CEng) or working towards is desirable.
