SHE Lead Advisor – Night Shift
Client: BAE Systems
Site/Locations: Govan
Shift: Night shift (Monday Night - Thursday Night)
Duration: 12 Months
Working hours/pattern: Full onsite
Rate: £25.73 PAYE + night increase
Security: BPSS only
Inside/Outside IR35: Inside
Responsibilities
- Drive safety, health, and environmental excellence across our Naval Ships business.
- Partner with line leaders to deliver SHE objectives, provide expert advice, and support the implementation of management systems and improvement initiatives.
- Work across sites to strengthen a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong SHE background with knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO 45001/14001)
- Experience influencing stakeholders and driving improvement
- Proven ability in risk management, audits, and incident investigation
- Relevant Level 5+ SHE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma)
- Chartered status (desirable)
