The Opportunity
DHL Supply Chain is seeking experienced First Line Managers (FLMs) to support a major warehouse operation at Manton Wood, Worksop. This is an urgent requirement with multiple positions available across a range of shift patterns.
We are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment, providing leadership to operational teams while ensuring safety, productivity, service and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage warehouse operatives on shift.
- Drive operational performance against KPIs and service targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Manage team performance, attendance and engagement.
- Coordinate daily operational activities to meet customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse.
- Deliver effective shift handovers and communication across teams.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working as a First Line Manager, Shift Manager or Operations Manager within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
- Proven ability to lead operational teams within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and operational performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to work on-site and commit to the required shift pattern.
Desirable Experience
- Previous DHL Supply Chain experience.
- Experience within large-scale FMCG, retail or distribution operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Shift Availability
- Days: 06:00 - 14:00
- Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:00
- Nights: 22:00 - 06:00
Location
Candidates should be based within commuting distance of Worksop or be willing to travel to site for their allocated shifts.
