Role Overview: As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the management of the companies ToA (Table of Authority) and Cost Centre Maintenance governance processes. You will be working proactively and collaboratively across the business ensuring that the TOA remains up to date. This is a new role in the team. You will be part of the team reporting to the Corporate Functions Finance Manager in the Business Planning and Ops pillar of the Finance department. You will work closely with the planning team in the EU region and be supported by the established governance team based in the US. This is a six-month engagement to help us on-board this service in our team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Table of Authority (ToA) Management: Manage the ongoing maintenance of the Table of Authority, ensuring it accurately reflects current roles, responsibilities, approval thresholds, and any documented exceptions. Collaborate with the Financial Planning team to review, validate, and approve updates to the ToA in accordance with organizational policies and strategic changes. Provide operational support for procurement and invoice processing issues related to ToA discrepancies, including troubleshooting approval routing and escalation paths. Ensure ToA documentation is audit-ready, compliant with internal controls, and aligned with regulatory and corporate governance standards. Maintain complete and up to date ToA records and change history to support internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews. Proactively identify and recommend improvements to the ToA process to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and support evolving business needs.
- Cost Center Maintenance: Oversee the end-to-end process for creating, updating, and deactivating cost centers within the financial system, ensuring timely and accurate execution. Maintain alignment between cost center structures and the organizational hierarchy, ensuring that all attributes (e.g., department codes, business units, reporting lines) are consistently and accurately reflected. Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, HR, and IT teams to validate cost center data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across systems. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including change logs, process flows, and audit trails, to support transparency and compliance. Monitor and enforce governance standards related to cost center creation and maintenance, ensuring adherence to internal policies and controls. Support reporting and analytics by ensuring cost center data is structured to enable accurate financial and operational insights.
- Forecast Communications - Systems: Standardise our quarterly forecast timeline communications to the business and maintain distribution lists. Pre-build email notifications we send as a team to the business ahead of quarterly forecasts, outlining key process and system deadlines.
