Location: Barrow in Furness
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £32.65 PAYE
Working Arrangements: Full time on site
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections in line with inspection and test plans.
- Identify and report non-conformances using company systems.
- Use calibrated measuring equipment to verify tolerances.
- Support audits, customer walk-rounds, and quality reviews.
- Liaise with colleagues and customers to resolve quality issues.
- Promote safety, health, and environmental best practices.
Requirements / About You:
- You’ll have a strong background in quality control or inspection, with experience using mechanical measuring tools - Verniers / Micrometres.
- You should understand relevant standards (such as ISO 9001/EN9100) and be confident interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
- Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) experience beneficial.
- Qualifications: NC/HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
