We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer to take a lead role in the design and development of complex electrical hardware systems at BAE Systems. You’ll act as a senior technical authority, driving solutions from concept to completion and providing expert guidance across multiple projects.
What you’ll do:
- Lead electrical design for new and legacy products.
- Deliver solutions across power distribution, motor drives, control systems, and data networks.
- Oversee design verification, testing, and integration activities.
- Provide technical leadership, review documentation, and mentor engineers.
- Contribute to bids, proposals, and technology development.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Significant experience in electrical design, integration, and verification.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. IET Wiring, EMC, safety).
- Experience in defence or other high-safety industries is desirable.
