Employee Relations Adviser

Location: Scotstoun
Contract: 12 months
Working Pattern: 2-3 days per week
Rate: Β£21.03 p/h PAYE / Β£28.15 p/h Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Security: BPSS only

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied portfolio of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and investigations.
  • Provide expert, legally sound advice and guidance to managers and HR stakeholders.
  • Ensure cases are managed in line with company policies, employment legislation and the ACAS Code of Practice.
  • Assess and mitigate employee relations, legal and reputational risks.
  • Coach and support managers in handling ER matters effectively and consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Labour Law, Trade Unions, Ethics and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate case records and proactively escape risks where required.
  • Keep up to date with employment law, case law and industry best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across ER policies, processes and technology.

About You

  • Proven Employee Relations and Case Management experience - essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidance and current case law.
  • Experience working with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage a busy caseload and escape risks appropriately.
  • A pragmatic and commercially aware approach to resolving complex ER issues.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation on a 12-month contract, working 2-3 days per week from the Scotstoun site. BPSS security clearance is required.
