Emissions Technician
Location: Peterborough
Pay: up to Β£31 per hour Umbrella
Contract: 12 months (likely to extend)
Hours: 37 per week β MonβThu 08:00β16:00, Fri 08:00β15:30
On site role β PPE (safety boots & goggles) provided
We\’re looking for an Emissions Technician to support our busy emissions team as we develop next-generation, zero-emission products. You\’ll be part of an innovative environment where every day brings new challenges and exposure to different areas of the business β emissions, electronics, and mechanical teams all work closely together.
What you\’ll do
- Support ongoing emissions projects, working hands-on with instrumentation and test equipment
- Measure and analyse gaseous emissions, helping us meet future standards
- Apply root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers and facility coordinators to keep programmes on track
What we\’re looking for
- Practical experience in instrumentation and a solid understanding of gaseous measurement
- Ability to use initiative and work independently
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Timekeeping, communication and teamwork skills are essential
- Desirable: emissions testing experience, or background in aerospace, rail, or similar industries.
