Development Consultant
Location: Desford, UK
Rate: Up to £34 per hour Umbrella – Inside IR35
Contract: 24-month contract (with strong likelihood of extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday
Travel: Approx. 25% travel within the UK and Europe
Onsite Requirement: Fully site-based (minimal PPE required when visiting customer sites)
About the Role
This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with high-profile dealers and internal stakeholders, driving commercial success and strengthening the dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with dealers and internal teams.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives to grow retail operations.
- Analyse commercial data and create actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Contribute to negotiations and collaborative problem-solving with stakeholders.
- Travel within the UK and across Europe (approx. 25%) to meet with dealers and partners.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree-qualified professional.
- 2–3 years\’ experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong negotiation and collaboration skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables) and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to think creatively and drive results.

- Background in the off-highway industry or a dealer distribution model.
