A global advanced engineering and technology organisation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary product development team supporting the design and customisation of complex engineered products.
This role will focus on the design and development of electrical modules and sub-assemblies, supporting product modifications, documentation, validation and technical delivery throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Designing and developing electrical sub-assemblies and systems
- Producing detailed engineering documentation, drawings and BOMs
- Supporting product customisation and development projects
- Verifying designs through calculation and testing
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects to quality, cost and timescale targets
Experience required
- An electrical engineering degree or similar qualification
- Experience within product development or engineering design environments
- Knowledge of design for manufacture/assembly
- Experience using CAD and engineering drawing tools
- Understanding of schematics, system diagrams or P&IDs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
