About the Role
Join one of the world’s leading Product & Design teams as an Art Director, helping to shape the visual identity and impact of our premium entertainment content across the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the creative vision for cross-content campaigns and develop captivating artwork that engages millions of users on our TV app and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Origination: Lead the ideation, development, and execution of visually compelling cross-content campaigns for our premium content platform and digital services.
- Visual Toolkit Development: Design and build comprehensive, flexible brand toolkits and guidelines that work seamlessly across multiple platforms.
- Platform Artwork: Create high-impact artwork for our premium content platform, enhancing visual appeal and discoverability while adhering to brand standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Motion Leads, Producers, Marketing, Editorial, and Localisation teams to deliver cohesive visual storytelling.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management: Build strong relationships with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure creative excellence, timely delivery, and alignment on quality.
- Creative Articulation: Develop big ideas and maintain creative momentum from concept to execution. Clearly present and explain design concepts to stakeholders.
- Brand Guardianship: Champion our brand aesthetic, driving consistency, innovation, and premium quality across all visual outputs.
- Strategic Design: Create thoughtful work that delivers on business strategy, with a focus on entertainment and product design.
- Trend Awareness: Keep up with industry trends, design innovations, and the competitive landscape to continuously elevate our visual experience.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years as an Art Director, with strong experience in conceptual design and visual storytelling within a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing art direction, campaign origination, toolkit development, and visual storytelling.
- Deep understanding of branding, typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to translate complex briefs and strategic goals into compelling, innovative visual solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in explaining creative concepts to varied audiences.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- A passion for film, TV, and entertainment, with a strong understanding of visual culture in these spaces.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with motion graphics and animation principles (e.g., After Effects).
- Advanced typographic skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Understanding of digital marketing trends, platform requirements, and best practices.
