Principal Systems Engineer Client: BAE Systems Job Type: Contract Location: Barrow, Portsmouth Broad Oak or Filton Working Arrangements: 2 days onsite per fortnight Rate: £58 PAYE or £78.33 Umbrella Duration: 12 MonthsPlease note that due to the nature of this Programme, they will only accept sole UK nationals.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and agree technical requirements.
- Deliver compliant technical solutions against customer and regulatory requirements.
- Produce, manage and control design documentation.
- Manage design changes and associated documentation.
- Support engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities.
- Contribute to Design Reviews and engineering governance activities.
- Support system architecture, integration, verification and validation activities.
Skills & Experience
- Significant Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
- Full Systems Engineering lifecycle experience.
- 10+ years' Systems Engineering experience.
- 3+ years' modelling experience.
- Verification & Validation (V&V) experience.
- System Architecture experience.
- Strong requirements management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Defence experience highly desirable.
