Job Title: Project Officer
Location: Barrow
Contract length: 6 months
Days on site: Fully on-site
Rate: £20.00 PAYE or £26.76 Umbrella

Clearance required: SC (candidates must be sole UK nationals to be eligible)

Overview
this role will involve managing a small project or a defined work package within a larger, more complex project. You will also support Project Managers with key delivery activities, ensuring projects remain on track and objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project activities, schedules and deliverables
• Supporting the successful delivery of larger project programmes
• Leading specific work packages and coordinating stakeholders
• Supervising and supporting junior team members where required
• Monitoring delivery performance and contributing to team development
• Applying project management best practice across a range of activities
• Adapting established project management processes to meet project needs

Key Skills

• Experience in a similar Project Management or Project Support role.
• Proven experience supporting the delivery of projects within a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience managing project schedules, risks, issues and actions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
