We’re looking for an experienced IT & Digital Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category management across a significant technology spend. You’ll develop and deliver technology category strategies, manage key supplier relationships and contracts, identify cost and service improvement opportunities, and provide expert commercial and procurement support across areas including software, cloud, networks, hardware and outsourcing.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, Legal, Supply Chain and technology teams to manage supplier risk, negotiations, contract performance and commercial outcomes, while ensuring compliance with relevant procurement and financial services requirements.
We’re looking for:
- Strong experience in technology strategic sourcing/category management
- Broad experience across software, cloud, networks, hardware and outsourcing
- Financial services procurement and supplier management experience
- Strong negotiation, commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Proven delivery of procurement savings and commercial benefits
- MCIPS qualification
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, PRINCE2 or S2P platforms would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major technology category and make a tangible impact across a complex, regulated organisation.
