Outsource UK is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join an Engineering client who are a leader in their field on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative NPI environment, supporting the design and development of complex mechanical systems from concept through to production.

The role:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and sub-assemblies
  • Support new product introduction and development projects
  • Produce detailed CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and cost requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams

About you:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with 3D/2D CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.)

  • Knowledge of P&IDs or system schematics is a plus
