Objectives

  • Provide support to the Senior Operational Analyst in activities related to integration and efficiencies.
  • Assisting with the standardisation of cost reporting associated with implementation of new corporate Finance system
  • Provide support to the Budget Holders in the production and management of the O&M annual budgets.
  • Provide support and training to the Budget Holders with the raising of purchase orders within the new Finance system
  • Provide support to Finance, Budget Holders and O&M Leadership team for month end reporting and forecasting, as part of routine cost control activities
  • Review monthly cost reports detailing any perceived issues relating to forecast variances and highlight potential opportunities or risks.
  • Review commercial rechargeable costs within Operations
  • Review and management of Corrective Maintenance Capex process with Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Support Integration related procurement activities
  • Support the process of merging Cost Reporting process between all companies involved in the integration
  • Undertaking cost benefit analysis for integration related activities
  • Support the Senior Operational Analyst with the implementation of new Finance system
  • Manage and support the O&M monthly cost reporting with Budget Holders
  • Update and monitor O&M Budget and forecast with Budget Holders and report impact to O&M Leadership
  • Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.

Equipment

  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of assets, equipment, and materials for which the role has responsibility

HSSEQ

  • Work to standard, procedures, and work instructions for Safety Critical Tasks to meet COMAH requirements.
  • Ensure all tasks carried out conform to company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Comply with the Values and Fundamental Principles of Exolum.

Education, Training and Qualifications

  • Qualification or background in: Construction, Finance, Analytical, Cost Engineering, or Procurement

Previous Experience

  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector or Process related Operations
  • Proven experience of developing and monitoring annual budgets/ forecasts.
  • Prove Cost Analysis skills

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable in Cost forecasting and Construction contracts.
  • Knowledge of Construction contracts
