We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-paced, globally recognised social media and influencer marketing agency that works with some of the world's most iconic brands. They're looking for a sharp and reliable Accounts Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave.
Contract: 3 months
Location: 100% remote — South Africa based
Start: Mid July
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments
- Raising sales invoices and tracking incoming payments from clients
- Reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end close
- Managing expense submissions and staff reimbursements
- Supporting credit control — chasing outstanding debts and maintaining aged debtor records
- Assisting with multi-currency transactions across international client accounts
- General bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Solid experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
