Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable and progressive main contractor who operates across a variety of sectors including education, commercial, and heritage typically valuing from £500k - £3m on a range of refurbishment projects. Due to recently securing several new projects, our client is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding commercial department.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Preparation of subcontract and material orders.
- Monthly CVR’s
- Variations
- Monthly payments to both suppliers / subcontractors.
- Administration of contract records
- Preparation of final accounts.
Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification.
- Team player
- Strong communication skills
- Conversant with MS Office packages
- Previous experience in a QS role with a main contractor.
- Experience in refurbishment projects £500k - £3m.
- Working knowledge of JCT suite of contracts including design & build.
