Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Harlow
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee delivery of a MEP installation package on a school project. The role will focus on supervising the installation of heat pump systems, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who is comfortable managing subcontractors and coordinating with the wider project team on an education-sector project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities relating to the MEP installation package.
• Oversee installation of ground source heat pump systems and associated plant.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Coordinate site operatives and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Monitor compliance with health & safety procedures and site regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and main contractor teams.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure installation readiness.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and progress updates.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor
• Experience delivering works on education, public sector, or commercial building projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical services installation.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and maintain programme delivery.
• Good knowledge of health & safety practices on construction sites.

Certifications (Preferred)

• SSSTS / SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid (desirable)
