We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and expanding construction company based in Brentwood, Essex, delivering a wide range of projects across London & South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an organised, proactive, and experienced Construction Office Support Manager to become a key part of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong construction administration or office management experience who enjoys a varied role and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Construction Office Support Manager, you will support the operational, compliance, and administrative functions of the business, working closely with Contracts Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and senior management. This is a highly varied role offering long-term stability, career progression, and the opportunity to play an integral role within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Office & Operational Support
- Managing the day-to-day running of the office
- Booking travel, hotels, and meetings
- Maintaining office and site supplies
- Sending order acknowledgements and managing records
- Providing administrative support to Contracts Managers
- Compliance & HSQE Administration
- Producing and updating O&M Manuals
- Supporting with completing PQQs and compliance documentation
- Supporting with creating RAMS and COSHH documentation
- Managing SSIP accreditations and company certifications
- Coordinating weekly returns for main contractors
- Maintaining training records and compliance documentation
- Subcontractor & Staff Administration
- Managing subcontractor onboarding and administration
- Monitoring training certificates and vetting requirements
- Supporting staff and subcontractor holiday administration
- Assisting with ad hoc HR and accounts administration
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within construction office administration or office management
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- A strong communicator with a professional and proactive approach
- A team player who can work independently when required
Desirable Experience
- Construction industry compliance documentation RAMS, COSHH, SSIP, and O&M Manuals
- Supporting Contracts Managers and operational teams
