Our client is a well-established specialist subcontractor delivering masonry packages across residential and commercial projects throughout London and the South East. The Role
They are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in brickwork / masonry packages experience to take full commercial responsibility for multiple projects. You will be managing packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with site teams and directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of brickwork packages
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and financial reporting
- Managing multiple live projects simultaneously
- Liaising with site teams and main contractors
- Attending site to assess progress and identify variations
- Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- A background working on brickwork / masonry packages
- Background working for a subcontractor or managing trade packages
- Ability to manage projects commercially from start to completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam
Desirable:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience working on London based commercial / residential projects
- Knowledge of JCT contracts
