Our client is a well-established specialist subcontractor delivering masonry packages across residential and commercial projects throughout London and the South East. The Role

They are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in brickwork / masonry packages experience to take full commercial responsibility for multiple projects. You will be managing packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with site teams and directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of brickwork packages
  • Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and financial reporting
  • Managing multiple live projects simultaneously
  • Liaising with site teams and main contractors
  • Attending site to assess progress and identify variations
  • Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • A background working on brickwork / masonry packages
  • Background working for a subcontractor or managing trade packages
  • Ability to manage projects commercially from start to completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam

Desirable:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Experience working on London based commercial / residential projects
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts
