We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a variety of high-end residential and commercial refurbishment projects across Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Project values typically range from £100,000 to £2 million, providing a diverse portfolio of refurbishment works, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Contract Manager and project team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates and site reports.
  • Manage and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and manage site inductions.
  • Maintain site records, permits, certificates, inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee compliance with Building Regulations and High-Risk Building procedures where applicable.
  • Monitor workmanship and quality standards throughout all stages of construction.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys, and produce detailed reports.
  • Assist with procurement, material ordering, and cost control activities.
  • Compile and maintain Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and Health & Safety files.
  • Ensure programme targets and project milestones are achieved.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing refurbishment projects, ideally within London.
  • Proven experience delivering both internal and external refurbishment works.
  • Experience within high-end residential, commercial, and office sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS Site Management qualification.
  • CSCS Card (Site Management).

Desirable Qualifications & Certifications:

  • First Aid at Work.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor.
  • Scaffold Inspection Training Scheme (SITS).
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • Working at Height.
  • Fire Marshal Training.
