Role Description: Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to be based in the Essex area, with the option of hybrid working of a couple of days a week. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, conducting cost planning, reporting, and estimating while ensuring projects remain within budget alongside company Contract and Project managers.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience within Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting
- Experience in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Ability to perform Cost Planning and accurately forecast project expenses
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Experience in Drylining / Drywall
- Proficiency in industry-standard quantity surveying tools and software
