Quantity Surveyor Drywall Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + Benefits The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and successful Drywall & Interior Fit-Out contractor delivering high-quality projects across East Anglia, Greater London and Northern Home Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to play a key role in managing project finances, maximising profitability, and supporting the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial aspects of multiple drywall and interior commercial projects. Prepare and submit accurate valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts. Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle. Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation of terms and pricing. Assess and manage variations, change orders, and contractual claims. Produce monthly cost reports and forecasts for senior management. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Identify and mitigate commercial risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. Support project delivery teams with commercial and contractual advice. Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the drywall, partitioning, ceilings, interiors. Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management. Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical and financial management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant construction qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent) preferred. Full UK driving licence desirable.
