About your new company
Our client is a well-established internal finishes contractor based in London working on an exciting portfolio and delivering major projects. Due to continued growth plans they now seek an Assistant Estimator to join their pre-construction department.
Duties for the Assistant Estimator:
- Dealing with initial tender and quotation enquiries
- Liaising directly with clients to establish their specific needs
- Carrying out site surveys
- Dealing with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure best value and quality is achieved
- Overseeing tender submission process to ensure highest quality and most competitive bids are submitted
- Support of Project Managers for submission of valuations, variations, and Final Accounts
- Direct input to the senior management team and help in their ongoing continuous improvement
Requirements for the Assistant Estimator:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience within a subcontracting environment.
