Outsource Ability, on behalf of our valued client, is seeking a skilled Remote Shopify Store Designer / E-Commerce Manager to redesign and optimise existing Shopify stores for better conversions, while handling day-to-day operations including product management, order fulfilment, inventory control, and performance analysis. This role combines strategic design expertise with hands-on e-commerce management to drive sustained sales growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign and optimise existing Shopify stores, including theme customisation, layout improvements, UX enhancements, and conversion-focused updates.
  • Add and manage product listings, including descriptions, images, variants, pricing, and collections.
  • Fulfil customer orders, process shipments, handle refunds/returns, and coordinate with suppliers or warehouses as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, stock updates, and reordering to prevent stockouts or overstock.
  • Implement and maintain Shopify apps for functionality such as payments, shipping, reviews, upsells, and automation.
  • Analyse store performance metrics (sales, traffic, conversion rates, AOV, abandonment rates) and generate reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Perform ongoing store maintenance, troubleshooting, A/B testing, and seasonal/promotional updates.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure store alignment with campaigns, branding, and promotions.

Requirements

  • Own laptop and reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Must have backup power supply such as UPS or Solar.
  • Proven experience designing/redesigning and managing Shopify stores, with demonstrable improvements in conversions, sales, or user experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in Shopify platform administration, including product management, order fulfilment, and inventory control.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, UX/UI best practices, and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Data-driven approach with experience using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools to track and report performance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks remotely.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
