As one of our first Event Managers servicing our UK clients, this role will operate as a regular member of the customer success team and will be crucial in helping Planned expand globally. You will be responsible for the sourcing, planning and coordination of our UK client events as well as onboarding new suppliers and expanding the global marketplace.

Your Role

  • Act as an industry expert and coach clients through their event planning process
  • Ensure a seamless experience and bridge gaps between the tech and the customer experience
  • Receive client event briefs and determine best vendor options
  • Handle event logistics, budgeting, and invoicing
  • Coordinate and negotiate with event vendors
  • Develop a long-term relationship with corporate clients

About You

  • Extensive experience in the event-planning industry with emphasis on corporate events
  • The successful candidate is intelligent, self-confident, influential, and effective when interacting with others
  • Ability to manage your work autonomously, as one of our few remote employees
  • Executive presence - you are confident, composed, and professional when interacting with clients at all levels
  • Excellent communication in English (bonus languages would be French and German, although not a requirement at this time)
