The Outsider restaurant is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our kitchen management team. We offer a competitive salary in a well-known Edinburgh institution with a great group of creative chefs.
Our restaurant offers the chance to create on a daily basis, with fresh ingredients from a range of suppliers. We encourage our chefs to be creative with daily special dishes to go alongside our core menu that the Outsider is renowned for.
As Senior Sous Chef, you are expected to work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager of the restaurant to ensure the high quality of our service and food is maintained, as well as help create new dishes. You are also tasked to help keep all our standards with regards to HACCP and housekeeping.
The Outsider serves a contemporary style of European cuisine, as well as influences from around the world. We strive to offer an interesting offering for our customers, and always encourage our chefs to think outside the box when they are creating new additions for our menu.
- Starting salary of £34,000 per year, with cash tips of £6,000-£10,000 per year, earning up to £44,000 per annum.
