OutsideClinic is the UK’s leading provider of optical care at home and we are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Norwich and the surrounding area. This role supports our mission to make clinically excellent eye care accessible and affordable by delivering high‑quality services directly to patients’ homes.

About the Role

As an Optometrist you will visit up to 6–7 patients daily, performing comprehensive eye examinations in their own homes. You will work independently with full support from our senior team and will use state‑of‑the‑art mobile equipment – including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp and I‑care tonometer – while maintaining digital records to eliminate paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations for each patient, spending up to 1 hour per appointment to ensure quality care and relationship building.
  • Make autonomous clinical decisions while having access to immediate senior support for second opinions.
  • Operate and maintain advanced mobile optical equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Receive ongoing CPD support and training, including time and financial assistance for professional examinations.

Package

  • Salary up to £74,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Strong bonus structure and commission paid monthly.
  • Fully expensed company car for business and personal use.
