Our mission is to improve the health, wellbeing and happiness of older people by delivering life‑changing care where it’s needed most. We believe everyone deserves access to clinically excellent services – especially those who can’t easily visit the high street. Whether it’s a sight test or hearing support, we’re proud to offer life‑enhancing care that makes a real difference every day.

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Business Development Executive to help us grow patient referrals through strong partnerships. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role that would suit someone confident in building relationships, knocking on doors, and driving real outcomes. You’ll focus on identifying and developing meaningful connections with organisations that can introduce people to our services. You’ll be instrumental in helping us hit key growth goals — including the number of partners we bring on board, and how many customers they refer to us. These targets will be shaped collaboratively with you and supported by tools, training, and a highly engaged head office team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build referral partnerships with organisations such as:
  • Independent opticians & audiologists (With the aim of potentially offering services in-store)
  • Sheltered housing providers
  • GP surgeries and community health hubs
  • Retirement villages
  • Local care groups and charities
  • Represent OutsideClinic in a warm, consultative, and confident way
  • Work with marketing to deliver partnership materials that generate engagement
  • Track activity and results via our internal system
  • Monitor performance against agreed (realistic) targets around partner numbers and patient referrals
  • Attend networking events, trade shows and community gatherings to spread awareness and generate leads
  • Bring insight and feedback from the field to help improve our offer
  • What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in business development, field sales or partnerships – ideally in optics, audiology, or healthcare
    • A real “doer” – someone who’s not afraid to start conversations, follow up, and make things happen
    • Comfortable speaking with a wide range of stakeholders – from care home managers to clinicians and small business owners
    • Self‑motivated, well‑organised and commercially aware
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives
    • Strong research and analytical skills to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry developments
    • Willing and able to travel regularly (company car provided)
    • Based in or around the Midlands, with the ability to be in Swindon 1 day per week
    • Full UK driving licence required

    • ÂŁ35‑40,000 base salary
