Responsibilities
- Help around 6-8 patients every day, visiting them in their own homes. Appointments are longer (1 hour) to allow time to build relationships and deliver gold-standard care.
- Be trusted to make autonomous decisions and be supported by a senior optometrist team as needed.
- Use the latest equipment, including mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system.
What you’ll be equipped with
- Full equipment kit provided with comprehensive training before working independently.
- Excellent equipment and a lightweight kit bag to streamline testing.
Additional Information
- Travel can be up to 50 miles from your home postcode; some days may be closer.
- All travel is planned to minimize distance between patient visits within a local postcode region.
- Weekends off.
