Position: Optometrist
Location: Wales – 2 weeks locally and 2 weeks staying away in other parts of Wales (Hotels & Meal allowances provided).
Salary: Up to £70,000. Commission paid monthly.

Work Schedule: 4 or 5 days a week (no weekends).
Regional Details: Approximately 2–3 weeks a month spent working within 50 miles of your home postcode, and 1–2 weeks per month supporting clinics in other parts of Wales. Overnight stays will be required, with hotels and meal allowances provided.
Equipment: All Optometrists are provided with a full equipment kit, along with comprehensive training to ensure confidence before working independently.
You Will:
- Help around 6-8 patients every day, visiting them in their own homes.
- Have longer appointments than typical high‑street visits (1 hour), allowing time to build stronger relationships and deliver gold‑standard customer care.
- Be trusted to make autonomous decisions and valued for your expertise, with support or second opinion available from senior optometrists at head office.
- Use the very latest equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I‑care tonometer, and the industry‑leading digital records system, which removes paperwork.
- Receive support for your CPD. The company will invest in you and provide time to complete exams if required.
