Job Summary: The Local Community Ambassador plays an important role in raising awareness of OutsideClinic’s expert audiology and optical services within their local community. Acting as a trusted and independent local presence, you will build relationships and open doors to organisations and individuals who may benefit from our services. This role is focused on visibility, trust and warm introductions. Success in this role comes from meaningful conversations, strong local relationships and helping people understand the care and support available to them in their own homes.
What The Role Involves:
- Proactively reaching out to organisations and groups in your local area, typically within around a 30 mile radius of your home
- Introducing OutsideClinic’s audiology and optical services through friendly, professional conversations
- Building relationships with independent opticians, pharmacies, community groups, charities, independent and assisted living schemes and similar organisations
- Attending local events, coffee mornings or community gatherings if you are comfortable doing so
- Leaving information leaflets where appropriate
- Making warm introductions to OutsideClinic when interest is shown
- Logging activity and introductions in a simple, supported way
