A new exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced high-end formal luxury menswear store manager. Our client has a global presence whose style is one of effortless modern elegance and craftsmanship, selling to UHNW clients of celebrities, royal families, and dignitaries.
As the Store Manager, you have to achieve an enhanced level of clientelling, service, and sales in line with the ambitions of the store and ensure that every client has an exceptional and unique experience by providing the highest standards of service. The importance of a commercial, strategic, and people development driven manager is crucial.
Based in a stunning boutique, the brand has an outstanding reputation in the industry to uphold, selling exquisitely crafted garments for a man's universe. Selling both formal and casual wear, including bespoke, MTM, RTW, leather goods, accessories, shoes, and fragrance, with its own onsite tailor.
The Role:
- Reporting to the Retail Director EMEA and responsible for a team of 3 Sales Consultants and a tailor.
- Drive sales implementing concrete actions and according to the Retail Excellence guidelines and the company strategy.
- Being the Brand Ambassador.
- Inspire and develop the team to successfully reach quantitative and qualitative targets providing a unique in-store experience.
- Translating the yearly target assigning and monitoring weekly and daily individual objectives.
- Implementing actions according to specific business opportunities (events, dedicated training sessions, sales targets, staff rotation).
- Drive sales and profitability through the implementation of effective merchandising, marketing, and CRM strategies in alignment with HW.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing team by recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating employees.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of the new staff induction program and providing constant in-store training sessions to all the team, following company guidelines.
- Being responsible for the brand and product knowledge of the team.
- Building a loyal clientele through engaging and retaining activities leveraging all clientelling tools (client book, daily metrics).
- Networking to create new business opportunities and relationships.
- Ensure a positive and engaging customer experience that reflects the brand's values.
- Constantly monitoring staff behaviour and KPIs achievement and coach each team member defining specific development plans through monthly touch base.
- Planning and scheduling the team and staff resources according to the coverage of the floor.
- Managing the stock in the most effective way constantly keeping focus on sales.
- Managing operational activities (couriers, alterations, store cleanings, postage) optimizing cost, resources, and time.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to achieve company goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment according to the highest standards.
- Embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager in a luxury fashion environment - ideally in formal menswear (but not essential).
- At least 5 years in a managerial position in luxury fashion boutiques and managing teams in excess of 5 team members.
- Very much a confident leader who has gravitas.
- Is hands-on with all aspects of managing a boutique and leads from the front and is present on the sales floor.
- A strong seller/customer service centric.
- Knowledge of the high-end fashion field and current fashion trends.
- Experience with store retail operations, visual merchandising, and sales strategies, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commercially driven to supersede all targets set.
