A new exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced high-end formal luxury menswear store director. Our client has a global presence whose style is one of effortless modern elegance and craftsmanship, selling to UHNW clients of celebrities, royal families, and dignitaries.

As the Store Director, you have to achieve an enhanced level of clientelling, service and sales in line with the ambitions of the store and ensure that every client has an exceptional and unique experience by providing the highest standards of service. The importance of a commercial, strategic, and people development driven manager is crucial. Based in a three-floor stunning boutique, the brand has an outstanding reputation in the industry to uphold, selling exquisitely crafted garments for a man's universe. Selling both formal and casualwear, including bespoke, MTM, RTW, leathergoods, accessories, shoes and fragrance, with its onsite tailors.

The Role:

  • Reporting to the Retail Director EMEA and responsible for an Assistant Manager, 2 supervisors, 2 tailors, 2 stock controllers, and 6 senior sales.
  • Drive sales by implementing concrete actions according to the Retail Excellence guidelines and the company strategy; being the Brand Ambassador.
  • Inspire and develop the team to successfully reach quantitative and qualitative targets providing a unique in-store experience.
  • Translate the yearly target assigning and monitoring weekly and daily individual objectives.
  • Implement actions according to specific business opportunities (events, dedicated training sessions, sales targets, staff rotation).
  • Drive sales and profitability through the implementation of effective merchandising, marketing, and CRM strategies in alignment with HW.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team by recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating employees.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the new staff induction program and provide constant in-store training sessions to all the team, following company guidelines.
  • Build a loyal clientele through engaging and retaining activities leveraging all clientelling tools (client book, daily metrics).
  • Ensure a positive and engaging customer experience that reflects the brand's values.
  • Constantly monitor staff behaviour and KPIs' achievement and coach each team member defining specific development plans through monthly touch base.
  • Plan and schedule the team and staff resources, according to the coverage of the floor.
  • Manage the stock in the most effective way constantly keeping focus on sales.
  • Manage operational activities (couriers, alterations, store cleanings, postage) optimizing cost, resources and time.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to achieve company goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment according to the highest standards.
  • Embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager / Director or similar role in a luxury fashion.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial position in luxury boutiques and managing teams over 10 team members.
  • Knowledge of high-end fashion field and current fashion trends.
  • Experience with area of store retail operations, visual merchandising, and sales strategies, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercially driven to supersede all targets set.
  • Flexibility and networking to advance client base.

Additional to the basic salary is: Bonus 10%, 1% store sales, Lunch allowance £1,000, 33 days holiday, clothing allowance, continuous pension.
