Working closely with the Registered Manager and Directors, you will provide support, guidance and constructive challenge while helping to establish a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic oversight of the children's home
- Supporting and mentoring the Registered Manager
- Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes legislation
- Overseeing safeguarding, governance and quality assurance processes
- Reviewing audits, Regulation 44 reports and quality improvement plans

- Preparing the service for Ofsted inspections

- Supporting safer recruitment, workforce development and organisational growth
- Promoting a child-centred, trauma-informed culture where young people can thrive
About You

- Significant experience within children's residential care
- Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or senior operational leader
- Excellent knowledge of Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards
