We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our client's home in West Derby, Liverpool, supporting children and young people. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stable environment, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and positive futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
- Act as a positive role model, offering emotional support, guidance, and boundaries
- Support with daily routines including education, activities, appointments, and personal care where required
- Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
- Promote safeguarding, welfare, and the rights of children at all times
- Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Experience in children’s residential care or a similar setting
- Ability to remain calm, resilient, and consistent in challenging situations
- Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
