Job Title: Creative Performance Lead (Strategy & Operations)
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 + Performance Bonuses
The Mission: Build the creative engine to scale us to ÂŁ10M+ revenue.
The Opportunity: We are a rapidly growing e-commerce brand with a clear goal: Exponential growth over the next 2 years. To get there, we don\’t need \”more photos.\” We need a System. We are looking for a Creative Lead who understands the math behind the magic. You will be responsible for outputting hundreds of high-performing creatives for Meta Ads and organic socials, while simultaneously managing the premium aesthetic of our listings on Debenhams, NOTHS, and Etsy. Important: You are not the Photographer (we have one). You are not the Media Buyer (we have one). You are the Architect in the middle. You design the plans, manage the assets, and build the creative variations that feed the machine.
The Modu lar Mindset (How We Work): If you are a designer who insists on making one \”perfect\” video from start to finish, this role is not for you. While we want high quality visuals that represent our brand we also need volume of output. We operate on a High-Volume Modular Strategy. You must understand that when we shoot content, we are shooting components: 10 Hooks, 10 Bodies, 10 Endings. We Shoot monthly to keep creatives fresh and so we do not get creative Fatigue.
- Your Job: To take those components and systemically mix-and-match them to produce 100+ unique ad variations.
- The Goal: To test different visual hooks against the same core product benefits to find the winning combination that lowers our CPA and scales our ROAS.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Performance Analysis & Iteration (The Winning Formula)
- You are the feedback loop: You will constantly look at what is working in our ads manager. If a specific \”Unboxing Hook\” or \”Green Colour Theme\” is driving sales, you identify it immediately.
- Reproduction & Scaling: You don\’t just guess what to make next. You take the winning concepts and reproduce them. You will brief the next shoot specifically to get more versions of the winning hooks, and iterate on the successful themes to squeeze every drop of performance out of them.
- Trend Adaptation: You monitor competitors and viral trends. If you see a format working in the market, you reverse-engineer it and produce our version of it within 48 hours.
- 2. Strategic Planning & Briefing (The Brain)
- You translate our sales goals—and your performance analysis—into technical Shot Lists for our photographer.
- You don\’t just say \”shoot the product.\” You specify: \”We need 10 vertical videos of the product dropping (for Hooks), 5 static texture shots (for Carousel cards), and 5 lifestyle shots (for Etsy).\”
- You ensure every minute of studio time is accounted for to maximize asset output.
- 3. The Content Factory (The Execution)
- Systematic Editing: You will assemble raw footage into high-converting ads for Meta & TikTok. You are fast, efficient, and organized.
- Organic Repurposing: You are clever enough to take a \”Hard Sell\” ad, strip the text, change the audio, and turn it into an engaging organic post for TikTok/Reels.
- Asset Management: You own the library. You will implement naming conventions (e.g., Date_HookType_Body_Ending) so we know exactly which creative elements are driving sales.
- 4. Automation & Workflows
- We are building automation to help us scale. You will act as the \”Lead Engineer\” for our creative files, setting up Master Templates in Canva/Adobe that allow us to resize and iterate content automatically.
Who You Are
- The \”System\” Thinker: You see patterns. You know how to set up a folder structure and an editing timeline so that you can output volume without burnout.
- Meta-Fluent: You understand the psychology of a \”Hook.\” You know that the first 3 seconds of a video are the most important.
- The \”Swiss Army Knife\”: We are a lean team with limited funds but unlimited ambition. You are happy to be strategic one hour (planning Q4) and operational the next (resizing images for a listing).
- Commercial > Artistic: You prefer a creative that sells over a creative that just looks nice. You are willing to test \”ugly\” ads if the data says they work.
What We Offer
- Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 (Dependent on experience).
- Performance Bonus: A lucrative bonus structure based on company growth targets, paid as a lump sum annually.
- Growth Path: This is a hybrid role today. As we scale to ÂŁ10M, we will split these responsibilities, giving you the chance to hire under you and move into a Senior Art Director or Head of Creative Operations role.
