We're hiring an experienced Big Data Solution Architect to help design and evolve a large-scale cyber security data platform used to process and analyse vast amounts of critical information.
This is a rare opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, influence architecture decisions, and solve genuinely complex engineering challenges within a highly skilled technical team.
What you'll be doing
- Architecting scalable, resilient big data platforms
- Designing modern infrastructure using Kubernetes and container technologies
- Driving automation through Infrastructure as Code and Dev Ops practices
- Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions
- Supporting the evolution of high-performance data platforms used in cyber security environments
- Mentoring engineers and helping shape technical best practice
We're looking for experience in
- Linux administration
- Kubernetes
- Docker & container technologies
- Big Data platforms & Data Lakes
- Infrastructure as Code
- Python or Bash scripting
- Dev Ops & Agile delivery
- Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Loki
- Cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
Experience with technologies such as Spark, Trino, Hive or Airflow would be a significant advantage.
