About you: Previous service manager, registered manager or deputy manager level experience of managing staff, groups of services and developing excellent relationships with local authorities and maintaining high standards of compliance with Care Quality Commission regulated standards. Professional qualification or relevant workplace experience (ideally with level 5 care manager qualification). Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a full and varied workload effectively to meet deadlines with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work with other departments within Outlook Care and has positive relationships with others. A customer driven problem solver who can identify solutions and instigate appropriate action and support staff teams promptly. Strong analytical skills and is committed to continuous improvement. Focused on performance, resource conscious with a positive and enthusiastic outlook. Resilient and pragmatic, understanding the commitment to a positive work/life balance. Driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use. Strong interpersonal and people management skills. Able to work flexibly and undertake other such duties as may be reasonably required by senior management. Must be a car driver with vehicle available for use at work (or be able to make flexible arrangements to travel as required for the role).
Job Role: The Supported Living Manager will lead and oversee a portfolio of services supporting people with Learning Disabilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and positive outcomes. The post holder will provide clear vision, professional leadership, and effective operational management to their allocated services, working in partnership with their allocated Team Coordinator(s) to build capable, motivated and high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement, strengthen quality and compliance, and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation to ensure consistently high standard across all services.
