The post will lead on all clinical matters for Foxburrow Grange but to be consulted on organisational clinical matters as required. Support members of the Nursing and Care teams to deliver good clinical outcomes by advising, coaching and developing staff and leading on complex care issues ensuring relevant standards and protocols are understood and always implemented. Ensure smooth running of the home by supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager to meet budgets set, work with staff closely to ensure they understand their budgetary obligations, support with referrals and recruit, retain, train & develop staff. Ensure that the nursing team fully understand and comply with the NMC Code of Professional Practice whilst developing clinical practice relating to MCA and DoLS, End of life Care, diabetes and any other health care needs provided for. The Service: Foxburrow Grange is a 69 bed home with state-of-the-art facilities with an outstanding and friendly team of dedicated staff.The home has been delivering person-centred care for 30 years,is within easy reach of major transport links and close to Colchester town centre.The home comprises of four wings. On the ground floor are 32 bedrooms for residents with dementia, with a further 37 rooms on the first floor for people in need of nursing and/or dementia care.
