Our client is a market leader in commercial design & build, refurb and fit‑out within the hospitality sector (bars, restaurants, hotels etc.). They have been established in the UK for over 25 years and are enjoying year‑on‑year growth, so now is an excellent time to join the team and grow within. This opportunity will join a commercial team focused on high‑quality and unique project design and delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree or Equivalent in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience in a construction‑based role.
- Previous experience of commercial new‑build/refurbishment projects (Hospitality sector such as Bars, restaurants etc. would be great to see!)
- Proficient in MS Excel & IT systems
- High‑level numeracy skills
- Full driving license
- Confident capable team player with approachable demeanour
- Good attention to detail and effective time management
- Strong decision making & negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
This position requires the successful person to be in the Doncaster office 2 days per week, with the other 3 days per week hybrid working. Regular project site visits are expected so you must have a clean UK driving license. Car allowance is provided with this position so it is expected that the person will upkeep and maintain a reliable vehicle to use for work.
