Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in English to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity is remote with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever is best for you.
You may contribute your expertise by…
- Reading English text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
- Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, which may involve research and fact-checking.
- Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text.
Examples Of Desirable Expertise
- Experience as a professional writer or editor.
- Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline.
- Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, and good logic and reasoning skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of texts.
Payment
Rates for core project work in the US range from $15 to $35 USD per hour. UK: Estimated up to £11 to £27 GBP per hour. Rates vary based on expertise, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, lower rates or incentive payments may apply. Review payment terms for each project.
