About The Opportunity
Outlier seeks talented English writers to help train generative AI models. This freelance, reading and writing-intensive opportunity is remote with flexible hours.
You may contribute by:
- Reading English texts to rank AI-generated responses.
- Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
- Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced texts.
Desirable Expertise
- Professional writing or editing experience.
- Enrolled in or completed a degree in a writing-related discipline.
- Strong writing style, exceptional English grammar, and reasoning skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to evaluate texts critically.
Payment
US: $15 to $35 USD/hour
UK: up to £11 to £27 GBP/hour
Canada: up to $20 to $48 CAD/hour
Australia: up to $22 to $53 AUD/hour
New Zealand: up to $25 to $58 NZD/hour
Rates vary based on expertise, location, and project needs. Higher rates may be offered for advanced qualifications. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or overtime phases. Incentives may be available.
