About the Role
We are seeking a technical and detail-oriented CRO Specialist (A/B Testing Focus) to join our optimization team. This role is key to bringing our CRO strategies to life, as you will audit user journeys, analyze data, design and run tests, interpret results, and guide teams to improve conversion rates. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform their hypotheses and designs into functional, measurable tests within platforms like VWO or Optimizely.
Responsibilities
- Analyze metrics like conversion rate, bounce rate, and revenue per visitor to form test hypotheses.
- Serve as the primary person responsible for the technical setup and development of A/B and multivariate tests using both visual editors and custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) on platforms like VWO.
- Manage the launch of tests, monitor their performance, and ensure a proper data collection process.
- Analyze test results, validate statistical significance, interpret insights, and recommend data-driven actions.
- Act as the team’s technical expert on all matters related to testing platforms, solving implementation issues, and finding creative solutions to technical challenges.
- Work with UX, design, and engineering to craft test variations that address key friction points.
- Clearly communicate test results and technical findings to internal stakeholders and, occasionally, to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the technical implementation of A/B tests using platforms such as VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar.
- Deep fluency in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel.
- Basic front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to implement changes that are not possible through visual editors.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on quality to ensure tests are executed without errors.
- Ability to analyze experiment data and solid grasp of statistics, significance testing, and sample size calculation.
- Strong communicator who delivers tight, data-driven presentations.
- Proven track record collaborating with UX, marketing, and engineering to ship experiments.
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative workarounds.
- Passion for customer experience and a bias toward measurable outcomes.
- Certification in an A/B testing platform (VWO, Optimizely, etc.).
- Experience working in an agile environment.
