We are looking for an accomplished Team Lead Project Manager to join our team and share our spirit – Dare to Innovate. We have a strong entrepreneurial ambition, and our people must be proactive and agile collaborators.

The Team Lead Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of Project Managers delivering retail display and point‑of‑sale solutions from concept through manufacture, logistics, and in‑store installation. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest quality, while meeting brand standards and retail rollout requirements. Working closely with Design, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Installation teams, the role balances commercial control, operational delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction across multiple retail programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Resource Management: Lead collaboratively with cross‑functional Team Leads to align resources across project management, design, engineering, manufacturing, and rollout phases for successful project delivery. Provide coaching, performance management, and technical guidance in order to mentor and develop a team of project managers. Build a proactive, accountable, and solutions‑driven project team culture. Support and identify continuous improvement initiatives (process, workflow, training). Employ a consistent risk management approach across all projects, clearly defining Risk identification, level, mitigation and escalation policies throughout the team.
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Serve as the driving force behind all projects, managing timelines, resource allocation, and execution throughout the project lifecycle. Implement robust project management methodologies, tools, processes and best practices to drive efficiency, quality, on‑time and on budget delivery across all projects in the team. Oversee project budgets and margin performance, managing change control, variations, and commercial approvals. Support pricing, value engineering, and cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality. Ensure projects compliance across Health & Safety, Retailer and Brand requirements, advising cross functional teams on industry best practice and driving quality standards. Maintain consistent reporting, documentation, and approval processes.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management: Act as the senior escalation point for clients, brand teams, and internal stakeholders. Lead status reviews, programme updates, and post‑project evaluations. Ensure client expectations are managed transparently around timelines, costs, and deliverables. Foster strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and in collaboration with commercial colleagues, identify opportunities for account growth. Facilitate communication with retailers on behalf of brand clients and Outform, ensuring alignment with retailer visual merchandising guidelines, timelines, processes, and expectations.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing Project Management teams.
  • Proven experience leading and executing complex projects within retail display, POS, shopfitting, or exhibition, manufacturing environments underpinned with a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience using PM and production planning systems e.g. Monday.com.
  • Ability to work with engineering teams to develop product solutions from visuals to production ready technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and lead times.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of ERP systems and reporting for financial KPI management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and solution‑oriented approach.
