Outdoor Nursery Edinburgh is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic early years professional to join our team. We are an established 46-place nursery with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, including access to local woodlands, where children experience the full benefits of outdoor learning. Our mission is to inspire young minds through nature, helping them develop essential life skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, long-standing team, highly valued by a dedicated and experienced management group. The role offers regular training and support to promote both professional and personal growth. A passion for the outdoors and the benefits of learning in nature is essential.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an early years setting (nursery or school-based).
  • A relevant qualification (SVQ Level 3 or 4, HNC, GTC registration, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one.
  • A positive outlook and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Ability to support the individual needs of children, indoors and outdoors, while fostering their learning.
  • Commitment to meeting standards set by the Care Inspectorate and Scottish Government.
  • Ability to follow the curriculum and manage required paperwork.
  • Expectation to join the SSSC within 3 months of starting your role with us.
