We are excited to be hiring Outdoor Learning Instructors to join our dynamic Outdoor Learning team at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD)
We have a number of 5-month fixed term contract opportunities availablecommencing 1 st February 2027.There is scope for further extension of contract.
The starting salary for these roles is £25,879 per annumbased on a 36-hour working week. The salary will be pro rata for part-time working.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Instructors with some experience, offering a varied and rewarding position. Staff are required to work across all sites but will be provided with a primary base.
Our centres are:
- High Ashurst, Mickleham Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6DQ
- Henley Fort, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4RH

About the Role
At Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD), we offer our visitors carefully facilitated, bespoke programmes in the outdoors, creating positive learning outcomes and experiences.
As an Outdoor Learning Instructor, you will be working with a range of groups including primary, secondary, college, graduates, adults, SEN and family groups. You will facilitate high quality, outcome led outdoor learning and developmental experiences. Programmes are carefully designed and bespoke to fit the needs and learning outcomes of the group.
