About the role As a Teaching Assistant, youâll provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with a range of complex needs, such as speech and language difficulties, delayed comprehension, attention and concentration issues, and behavioural challenges including emotional regulation and task avoidance. Your role extends beyond the classroomâbuilding positive relationships with families and carers, and collaborating with professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, Social Workers, and Early Intervention teams. While rooted in education, your support plays a key role in each pupilâs wellbeing, personal growth, and long-term success.
