JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highlyanalytical and detail-oriented Senior Market Intelligence Analystto support our growing business. This role is crucial in helping usmake informed investment decisions by providing in-depth marketanalysis, understanding sub-segments, demographic trends, andforecasting opportunities in new markets. The Senior MarketIntelligence Analyst will work closely with the COO, CFO, andCommercial Director to shape our investment strategies and ensurewe have a thorough understanding of the markets, with a particularfocus on the education sector and special needs units.

KEYACCOUNTABILITIES:

Market Research &Analysis:

  • Conductthorough market research on new segments, demographics, and trends,particularly focusing on the education sector and special needsunits.

  • Analyse potentialmarket demand and complexity for various sectors, including furthereducation.

  • Identifyaddressable markets and create comprehensive market analysisreports to guide management decisions.

ProjectInvolvement:

  • Leadmarket research for key projects by analysing different segmentsand geographies to assess opportunities.

  • Work directly with the FP&A and BI teams togather, analyse, and interpret data relevant to our strategicgoals.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence andFinance teams to build a robust dataset (including annual reportssuch as Ofsted data) and to provide insights for betterdecision-making.

  • Workclosely with senior leadership (COO, CFO, and Commercial Director)to advise on market trends and recommend strategicmoves.

EXPERIENCE &QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background:

  • Degree in Business, Economics,Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is aplus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in market analysis orresearch, ideally within the education or special needssector.

  • Understanding ofinvestment processes, market segmentation, and demographic trendanalysis.

  • Previousexperience working directly with senior leadership and influencingdecision-making processes is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in market analysistools and business intelligence platforms.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experiencewith financial models.

  • Experience working with large datasets andgenerating actionable insights from complexdata.

SoftSkills:

  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, with the ability totranslate complex data into clearrecommendations.

  • Ability towork in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiplepriorities.

  • Stronganalytical and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approachto solving problems.
